Media Monday: What don’t you want?

Welcome to Media Monday at Studio 4 PR! Every Monday, I’ll be sharing stories of entrepreneurs doing cool things. If I can’t find any stories of entrepreneurs doing cool things, I’ll share other stories that will either cause you to pause, cry, or bust a gut laughing. Most of the time, they’ll be relevant to finding and being found by your ideal client, but my main goal is to make them meaningful.

If you have a story to share about an entrepreneur, or something that affects small businesses, please send it to robin@studio4pr.com with MEDIA MONDAY in the subject line. I won’t post anything that’s offensive, small-minded, mean-spirited, or negative, so please be nice. Just sayin’.

The past few weeks have been craaaaaa-zy. Client work, home stuff  and kid stuff all seemed to converge at the same time and then we went on a 7-day cruise to the Bahamas. We just got back yesterday and I’m buried in dirty, wet, smelly laundry. All of this is to explain why I have been AWOL of late.

Which is no excuse. If you’ve been following me for any length of time, I am constantly preaching the importance of sharing good quality information with your peeps otherwise they won’t be around long. Content is king. ideal client, woman, creative entrepreneur

At the same time, don’t waste your followers time with recycled, poorly written, same-old-same-old garbage. If it doesn’t light you up, don’t bother. I think that’s where I am now. In a content rut.

In January, I started posting under a daily theme (Media Monday, Trending  Tuesday, 5W Wednesday, Thursday’s Tips, and #FollowFriday) , which helped me focus my content on a specific topic. But, now it feels stale and stinky (kind of like my laundry).

I recently read that when you’re trying to reach your ideal audience, they can’t tell you what they want because they don’t know, but they can always tell you what they don’t want.

So, what don’t you want?

Please share your comments or opinions with me below. I would love to know how my content is helping you to Get R.E.A.L (realistic, engaging, authentic, and of the mindset you want to have a long-lasting relationship with your clients.) Don’t be afraid to ask questions or suggest topics for future blog posts. I am here to serve YOU.

Thank you for sharing this space with me.

Best,

The Get R.E.A.L Girl
